You have just made the most important decision of your life! You have chosen to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life and become a Christian. Old things are passed away and new things have come. You will never be the same!
We are so happy and excited for you. As you begin this new walk there are a few things that can help you as you grow in God. Just because you have become a Christian does not mean that life is a breeze and everything will go your way. It does mean that now you have all of Heaven on your side and you can do all things through Christ. Listed below are a few things that can get you started on the path to maturity.
Read the Bible
It is daily nutrition. As a new born babe in Christ you must be fed healthy spiritual food. Find a Bible that you can understand. If you need assistance, email us at [email protected] and we can recommend one for you. The Bible is God’s Word to you. It is your foundation for life. It is what you base your decisions upon. It is how you make your choices in life. God will speak to you, lead you and guide you with His Word.
Prayer is just talking to God. Conversation is one of the ways you establish a personal relationship with the Lord. Prayer changes things!
Go to Church
You need to be in a good local church that is alive. You need to hear and study God’s Word, worship and praise the Lord, and be an active part of helping and interacting with other Christians. If you need assistance E mail us at [email protected] and we can recommend some churches in your area.
You need to tell somebody! The Bible says that we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. Sharing what Jesus has done for you is very powerful. It helps others have hope and it encourages them that if God has done it for you, He will do it for them!
New Life Network is here for you. If you have any questions or need any help please E mail us at [email protected]. We are praying for you and we believe that God has a great plan for your life. What an exciting time to be a part of the Household of God. Welcome to the family!
