Scripture of the Day October 22, 2020

And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith”. 6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” (Luke 17:5-6)

I like to say it like this: If you have faith as a seed you’ll be saying….Saying what? Saying whatever you are believing for.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God according to Romans 10:17.

You get faith by hearing the Word of God, and you release your faith by speaking the Word of God.

Luke 8:11: The seed is the Word of God.

I Peter 1:23: For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God.

II Corinthians 4:13: And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore speak,”

Romans 10:8: But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):

Mark 11:22-24: So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Jesus said you can have what you say, but most people are just saying what they have.
