Scripture for the Day – May 6, 2020
And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where. (Luke 9:6)
Today was supposed to be my seventh chemo infusion. Well, it did not work out like that. My white blood count was too low, so they postponed the chemo until next week, However, we do have a CT scan on Friday (5/8/2020) so everyone pray that we get a good report from that scan and that my white blood count will go up quickly.
Now, let us talk about the important stuff. The Lord never changes. He is still the Lord that healeth us. He is not the Lord that makes us sick. He is not the Lord that created this virus or my cancer. People in the church are infected with this sovereignty doctrine which is ripping off God’s people. God does not control every event in your life. If you want to go to New York City and jump off the Empire State Building, God will not stop you. You have been given a free will. It was not planned by God or sanctioned by God for you to commit suicide. It is the devil who comes to steal, kill. and destroy. Jesus comes to give us life more abundantly.
Would you please read the scriptures with some common sense!!! Don’t listen to the doctrines of men and demons.The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; (Matthew 12:15)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38)
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8)
If Jesus ever healed one person, and we know He healed many more than that, then He is still healing today, regardless of what some people in the Church say different. Now, one more major point. Why would Jesus heal all those people if God (the Father) made them sick? That does not stand with Biblical principles. A house divided cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. (Mark 3:25)
I choose to stand with the Lord and His Word, and I encourage all of you to do the same!!!!!!
